CGBUMP
Hi — we're CGBUMP.
We spend most of our waking hours at work.
It's where we trade an enormous amount of time for money.
And because it repeats every day, we slowly stop noticing what that time is worth.
I'd rather you didn't spend it for nothing.
However bad the conditions, treat them as the best environment you've got.
Ask what would get you the most out of it.
Then do the small things properly.
The quiet habits that go unrewarded right now have a way of coming back to you — in some form, eventually.
But the return often doesn't match the effort. Usually that's because the practice you repeat every day is pointed in the wrong direction.
I've taken those wrong roads myself. If I can keep you off a few of them, that's enough.
"Skill doesn't improve on a slope. It improves in steps."
The flat stretch between one step and the next — that's where most people quit, because it feels permanent. How long that stretch lasts is different for everyone.
It feels like you've stopped.
You haven't. You're still moving.
Don't forget that.
CGBUMP is where I'm turning my years in the game graphics industry into courses. Like filling a library one book at a time.
It takes a while, and I'm fine with that. I'd rather make something worth your time.
If you keep finding courses here worth taking, and you enroll — that's what keeps CGBUMP going.
Nothing flashy. Just the courses I'd want to find myself.
Thank you.
